They're Fading Fast

So, I called, today, to both SOG and J&G to inquire about the purchase of an(other) sks. I was told by both that they were out and would not be getting any more in. Is this in anticipation of a succesful campaign surrounding HR1022? Are we to the point now, where the mere introduction of the bill sends people running to the hills?

I have limited experience in these matters. What's your opinion?
