Wacked a Possom A few Minutes Ago

I have been going through the cat food like crazy the last few weeks so I set a HaveAheart Live trap to catch the thief. First couple time I caught this possom I took him out into the woods and let it go but today after the third time I caught him I killed it. Third strike your out Possom.

    big ohio river possoms eat lead around here and i use the lethal p-nut butter on mice on a trap stick it down to the bait tray and .....whack head shot every time no pain dont even know what hit em [;)][}:)]

    My cat is pretty much helpless. I adopted her and the previous owners had her declawed. She can't even climb a tree let alone fight.

    Good Idea!!! Now that I know some animals are above humans it would only be right for another animal to do the dirty work[:D]

    Not in my book.lol Actually, just recently my rat terrier
    killed a rather large one. Well, he didn't kill it, but drug it out
    to the middle of the yard where could shoot it.

    Believe it or not I worked with An African American lady who said she grew up in the South and they regularly ate Possum for dinner and then one day there was dead possum on the side of the road and her mom said "Look at the dead possum" and thats when she realized what it was she had been eating all that time. She said she never ate "Road Rat" again.

    Possum pie and sweet potatoes was common tablefare among most all pioneering families when better game was not available. That's just my opinion. I would also imagine it was fixed in a great variety of ways as well. From what I was told by some family members when I was a kid is that they did not like it, and that it was too greasy.
