Threw my back out again
Yesterday morning as I was getting ready to leave for training for the new job, I placed my left foot on a dinning room chair to tie my shoe. Well there it went. And there I went right down on the floor. Pinched, pulled or slipped something. When I was able to get up I went to work. I'm sure that was a bad idea looking back on it, because today I can't straighten up to walk. Work is done till after the first and I planned on Walleye fishing at the hot ponds today. Needless to say that won't be happening. What a drag it is getting old. [B)]

And this from a 30 something. Get yourself off to the urgent care and get some muscle relaxers, anti-imflamitories, and pain killers. Spend lots of time on the floor with the cat watching movies. When you are up and about have an MRI. If you have any scoliosis you have a good chance of developing disc problems. Better to try to prevent that than live with it later. I recommend a little hydrocodone in your egg nog. 0 -
better take care of yourself. i have had back surgery and a total knee replacement which i am dealing with now and the both hurt like H--- 0 -
No "Mothers little helper for me" (see above: "what a drag it is getting old"[:D]) I don't really take medications. Kinda scared to take pills.
I've had recurring back problems since I was 21. Got in a scrap in a bar with a guy that was about 50. This fella beat me up pretty good. Back has been screwed up ever since. It goes out about once a year or so. I'll take it easy till it heals up. I'll be alright, just disappointed that I couldn't fish today. And I'm forty now HeDog, so the thirties are just a fond memory. [:D]0 -
Prayers sent for healing and restoration. 0 -
My Chyro is on my Christmas card list for a good reason. Hes staff refers to me as "the some assembly required guy". Pulled/seperated ribs, dislocated shoulders, hernated discs, pinched nerves and a host of other issues have been eased at his hands.
The hard part is finding a good one, some are brutal, and some can't seem to get the job done.0 -

If you are from the 60's as you say Mr. HeDog... then am I to assume that you did in fact get my "What a drag it is getting old" and "Mother's little helper" allusions? [;)]0 -

We learned not to tangle with those old guys! Whilst I was receiving my whoopin I clearly remember thinking "Damn this old boy is as strong as an ox". [:D] Funny now 19 years later thinking back on it. Some lessons in life hurt more than others. [B)]0 -

I am 45, and reek of Ben Gay and ICY Hot.[:D] Be assured it's only temporary. When we take that big dirt nap we will not feel a thing.[;)]0 -
