new bill in congress to outlaw chaplins!
dem's are at it again. can you believe it? picture your son, bleeding, about to die on some filthy battlefield, and he is about to meet God, at CHAPLINS arent allowed to administer last rights or prayer for him. your military family member in service is confused about death and dieing, or has morale issues that need discussion....and wont be able to confide in a PROFESSIONAL ever again.
is that what we've become as a nation?

Is there a link to the specific bill that the congress is trying to pass to "outlaw Chaplain's"? All I can find is a petition to the President to "stop the censoring" of Chaplain's. I signed it, but would surely like to find the specific bill, more specifically, the SPONSORS of that piece of junk legislation. 0 -

Can you please provide a link to the bill in question, because I couldn't find anything about "banning chaplains" on that fundamentalist Christian website you linked to. I'm pretty sure you're just making that up to spark outrage, NO ONE is trying to ban chaplains.
And would you be OK with your son lying on the battlefield and receiving Muslim last rites from a Muslim chaplain? He might be the only chaplain available, and since you believe that the Chaplains should be allowed to proselytize freely to those of other faiths, then you should have no problem with Muslim and Jewish chaplains providing their religion's rites to your dying child and possibly even try to convert him in life.0 -

There have been Jewish Chaplains on the battlefield for decades.
muslim chaplins?? - well, I don't remember the Jews flying planes into the World Trade Center, or suicide bombing the Marine Corps barracks, or... on and on.

its funny how a few posters here have already called the lawyers "christian" lawyers but when i made posts about the ACLU lawyers being jewish i had my post deleted and i was slammed by a few of the jew members here. it is a FACT that christian bashing today is acceptable and tolerated. 0
