Repairing outdoor tile?
Some of the tile has come loose at the rental house. This is red, square tile about five by five. It is on the front step where the sidewalk comes up to the front door. About six of these tiles have come off
I have laid lots of tile, using thinset mixed with latex, etc. To use thinset, I would have to scrape or chisel the old thinset or mortar down 1/4 inch to give me room to put the new thinset.
To put these tiles back, is there a glue that can be used?

You could try Gorilla Glue. You'll still have to waterproof the edges of the tile or it'll still come back up if water is allowed to get under it. 0 -

best way is to scrape the thinset off. You might try a 4 inch scraper. If it is too much of a chore then i would use white mastick. Might get 2 years out of it. If your grout joints are small you can use color calk. 1/4 inch or bigger use grout. Good luck!
