My Saturday
Winter Storm Weather Warning here and Blizzad Warning in next county to the south. Been 25 all day here in NE WI. Three inches this AM but nothing this afternoon. Suppose to really hit tonight.
Took 23 year old second daughter, 2 Labs and a Golden to the woods this morning. We skided 2 huge logs and cut up 6-7 smaller trees. We ate lunch out there and the dogs had a ball! We worked up a good sweat! WE got some great exercise and just hung out together. My daughter is a married school teacher. We do not get chance to spend much time together anymore. It was great and for a time seemed like 15 years ago just my little girl and myself!
Came home and took a shower. Dogs and I took a nap and wife is now cooking dinner! She seems in a very good mood too. Just the two of us alone in a Winter Storm watching movies, good dinner, a little wine, and a good fire. Might just be a GREAT NIGHT too. Not sure it gets any better!

We are 35 miles SE of Green Bay on Lake Michigan. Manitowoc, WI, directly across the "BIG POND" from Lugington, MI. I would guess we are 3 hours away.

Thanks, we're supposed to fly the boss to Minoqua (spelling?) on Monday. Didn't know if they were getting pounded wih snow also. 0 -
Wow, sounds like a fun day! I love to spend time with my 11 year old daughter. The greatest fun we have is teaming up and getting on Mom's one last frazzled nerve![:D] 0 -

Another 14 hour day, spitting sleet and frezing rain. 2 more hours till i'm sittin on the couch enjoying the fire my wife built, eating a bowl of deer chili, watchin a movie. Too bad its that time though[:(]for her. Good night sleep then to it over again tomorrow, after we and the kids go out to the diner for breakfast, then go to work. 0 -
Have to get out the atlas and see where you are in re. to Door co.
Got some good friends up that way that we trade pheasant hunting for salmon fishing every year.0 -
got out early 22deg here sun out took big red [truck] out for a bath and small drive,cat dragged in a grey squirrel i cut off its tail and made a toy for my pups 11month old jack russell/beagles sisters,WIDE OPEN most of the time one is a true tree climber hung squirrel tail up in wht pine, she would not quit going up the side of the tree till she was out of breath,other pup tried too just hasnt got it like her sister,rain tonight 35deg rain tomarrow,catch up on gun cleaning i guess[;)][:D] 0 -
sittin here in east central Minnesota... know what u are saying bout the storm... we are in the bullseye here.. sposed to get bout 18" of the white stuff... just kickin bak.. 0 -
we stayed up til 4am singing karaoke (we have our own machine) and drinkin for the heck of it. hard week and time to blow off steam kinda thing. got up today at noon thirty and been chillin on the couch and watchin movies. wonderful day. 0 -
