Oh yeah. Of course, the "bad childhood" excuse. I am surprised that the lawyer didn't play "race card", worked before.
Hope he gets to serve full time. No pardons, no excuses.
Black, white, polkadot, such miscreants are to be removed from society

quote:He shot and wounded three people, including a police officer, and sprayed kerosene on several customers and threatened to set them on fire. Two women caught Johnson off guard and tackled him, and a policeman shot him.

It would have saved society a lot of resources had the shot been fatal.

He's deluded or intellectually dishonest or both. More blacks mistreat blacks than do whites with the way the gang/youth violence isn't picky enough to move out of their own neighborhoods and communities.

As I posted on a similar topic... I have done some editing accordingly...

quote:I truly don't believe they (those pushing the idea that gay/black bashing is going on in large scale) are speaking of any personal hatred from 1 person towards gays/blacks. I truly think this whole ideal is far more ulterior motivated as nothing more than a way to label those that don't allow, support, and accept the far left agenda to "haters" and "racists" etc.

Their point or claim is usually an obfuscation of the truth and is not truly about hatred inflicted by anyone on gays or blacks.

The civil rights laws already cover this. If a crime is committed then a crime is committed and the guilty perps need to be punished. I don't like lessening or enlarging the severity of a crime by labeling it a "homophobic" or "hate" crime because the crime is the crime. If it is an assault, the perp needs to be tried for assault no matter whom was assaulted or why. Just as a murder is a murder no matter whom was murdered or why. It is a murder and should not carry a lesser or heavier punishment based upon whom to or why the crime was committed.

Further on this subject I despise the labeling of "date-rape." Either it is a rape or it is not a rape. I think more damage is done to lessen the concept or thought of the severity of the crime by the circumstances of the crime. Are we to care more or less and punish more or less because it was a date-rape? And are we to care or punish more or less because it was a "homophobic" or "hate" crime?

These labels obfuscate the truth and produce and inspire divisiveness in society and promote class envy/warfare and a divisiveness that gives the elitist liberals further causes to promote and "champion." I think specifically in these topics and discussions about "why do straights hate gays," (or whites mistreat blacks) is nothing more than a way to further diminish and discredit American Judeo-Christian values and our culture. All crimes exist on some level, all racism, hatred, and other forms of injustice obviously exist in specific instances, but that is not what is going on in the big picture.

Just as we (WASP's) are not allowed to generalize and think of and treat all blacks like they are all the inner city recidivistic felonious scum, as perpetrated by a "few" of the minority population, (that treat each other with more disdain and disrespect than we could ever do) they, in turn with intellectual honesty, should not be entitled to think of or treat all us (WASP's) like we are all the racist scum, as perpetrated by a "few" of the outcasts and dregs of our population.

It is simple and straightforward enough, and I truly believe Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. would agree with me, especially seeing the true depth of the wholesale changes and upgrade he is partially responsible for helping the American Judeo-Christian valued culture and society to attain post civil rights movement, and his tragic and despicably, aberrantly, motivated and perpetrated murder.

More of a front in the culture war, than an actual act being perpetrated by anyone specific and an outcry about it.
