want a new CC pistol--Which to buy

I am looking to buy yet another pistol and this time I want to buy a new cc pistol I am looking at either the taurus MILLENNIUM PRO PT145 .45 ACP POLYMER PISTOL or the S&W Model SW990L Pistol. I like the SW because it is mostly made by Walther and Has the walther p22 look which I love my p22 look and feel. I like the Taurus because it is chambered in 45 ACP which I love the ballistics of the 45 acp. HAs anyone shot either of these pistols and if so how does the 45 handle being such a light piece (22 oz). I know that S&W has a bad rap and I said I would never own one on the auto side but Walther basicly makes this gun and it looks preety sharp but is it dependable. And as far as I know Taurus is pretty solid and good bang for the buck.

    I was a big Taurus PT guy, but after seeing the others so much, I've realize that the PT's aren't as nice as some of the others. I'm also not a fan of the LLLOOONNNGGG trigger take up on the PT.

    Still good guns, but I think I may sell my PT111 and get a Kahr CW9.

    Its funny you mentioned the trigger pull on the Pt because I think I heard that somewhere else and I was wondering about that. The Smith boast "lightning fast trigger pull that is consistent from the first to the last shot". Sounds like its alot better in that area than the PT

    The P-01 is a fantastic gun as is the CZ 2075 Rami(only avail in 9 and 40 I believe).

    I was just looking at the CZ p01 with laser grips. This pistol may get more consideration. It is sharp

    I have what's called the 40P. It's the P01 frame with a 40caliber upper. Only some 200 produced.

    The trigger/ergonomics/and balance of that gun is phenominal.

    What a fantastic shooter. Ask the other 40P owners on this board about them.

    In the "favorite pistol" thread, I saw 3-4 people mention the 40P as their favorite.

    The P01 is the service weapon of the Czech Police.

    It's certainly on my [evergrowing] list to buy.

    XD 45 compact is what I have and it replaced my Kimber Ultra Carry as my main CC gun. I love it.

    I have a taurus 27/7 9mm auto and I'll have to say it is a great weapon, fired over 400 rounds without a miss fire.

    Ive fired the Taurus and found it pleasant to shoot and accurate as well. Ive not shot the S&W but have heard positive info about it. Good Luck!!
