I have no idea other than you have alot of regulations. I know guys that have one outta their home

In the future, we will not be able to take a crap without signing a form, wearing a helmet and getting a notary to stamp it

Yes , you can have a ffl without a store front. Not easy.

If your state/city/township has no zoning laws prohibiting it, you may operate a gun business out of your home.
When I filed out my form 7 they did not ask those questions, maybe it is something new.

You can run an FFL out of your home, with the proper security. You can also have them knocking at your door when you are trying to get some sleep in the wee hours of the morning

It can be done, without too much start up hassle. Is it worth it? Not for me.

Yes, you can have Dealers 01 FFL without a storefront- but as the man said, you will need a business license, sales tax number, NOT be in violation of local zoning, etc. IF you do, be sure to designate EXACTLY what part of your residence is used for the business. You will need that for income tax, and to designate "premises" for ATF.

It depends on where you live.....in the busier parts I think they are preventing it....but in the little areas nobody much cares so long as you follow the rules.

Out of the home. !!!! Look what they did to the guy up in MN.

    Think that over real carefully.

You also have to ATTEMPT to make a profit. You can't just go get an FFL so you can buy tons of guns, or save money on shipping. It is essentially a business lic.

Must be subject to state laws because you can't have an FFL in OREGON without a store front or a manufacturing facility for an 02 or 07. There are a bunch of FFL's in Oregon that are grand fathered in but no new ones.

There is no such thing as grandfathered, it was part of the AWB, it does not matter if the state/city/township dosen't mind, if the zoning laws prohibit it, your gone.
I have never had a Batfe inspector ask about profit, just about transfers.[;)][8D]

Thanks for the input guys. I live out in the country and have people asking me to get this gun or that gun for them and I tell them I cant because I am not a dealer. I think I shall remain a non dealer as it seems to be more trouble than its worth. Thanks again
