SWAROVSKI scope help
I need some of the saged wisdom thats out there on this forum. I just bought the Z6 1.7-10-42 (7a) but have not mounted it on the rifle yet. My boss asked me to look for a scope for him and I found
a 4-16-50 pl jg that he bought sight unseen. I have several scopes
already and this new scope will replace a kahles that was on my 308.
He has only onr rifle a 270 that he hunts deer & hogs with and I am wondering if the 4-16 might be to much scope for that job. The 4-16
scope looks to be a long range scope with the forward focus ring. I quess what I am thinking about was offering him a trade if he dosen't
like the 4-16. The big question for me is which is the better scope
they are both 30mm tubes, I think they are designed for different
purposes because of the different power setups. Thanks for any help. Vince

4 power on the low end, esp on a high quality scope will be fine for close hunting,
and he will be able to see well at dusk with the premium optics and big objective, but I would have opted for a 40mm on a hunting rifle.
It will work fine on anything-T0 -
I would buy one of each. But that's just me. 0
