Trajectory chart help ?
i am confused by remingtons charts . what i need to know is if i zero a 140 grain 280 caliber at 100 yards what will be the bullet drop at 200,300,400 and 500 ? lets use the accutip for example ....

Because of their differing velocities, combined with their differing ballistic coefficients, they describe different arcs as they fly.
The one with a longer yardage for Zero is the most perfect projectile - it loses velocity less quickly.
That doesn't mean that it retains/delivers the most ft/pounds at your intended target range...0 -
Sierra Bullets has a great ballistics program/sw that will calculate exactly what you want. I had it on my WIN98 cornfuzer, but this new Vista machine is not compatible. 0 -

So, you need to give me the BC, Sectional Density, velocity you are shooting it, and so on...the program I use has compensation for altitude and humidity, temperature and Barometric pressure, IIRC...I will pick "Standard Conditions" for the values you don't supply. 0 -

There shouldn't be any confusion, it's just that Remington uses 150 yards for the short range zero and 200 yards for the long range zero. They use the odd zero so that the general population doesn't have a direct comparison to other manufacturer's loads. You can compare between Remington loads but only approximate for other maker's loads. Without constructing a new table based on their interior ballistics, you have to extrapolate at the start or the proper method is to take that load and shoot it in at the ranges you desire to have accurate data.
Here is some data for comparison with that load zeroed at 100 yards:
