F: travel all day to get to a job interview, check into my hotel and try to compose myself for a two-day interview gauntlet.

Most years I hope and plan for B 'cause I have no kids of my own. But I've yet to have a trick-or-treater come to my door here in the ghettoplex.

We'll pass Halloween with passing out goodies to the local kids. [:)][:)][:)] My wife does most of that. I'll give a lot of thought to people who mean a great deal to me, some who are not here to share this occasion with us anymore. All in all, we hope to have a good time. [8D]

Will be playing on xbox live most likely, since I live out in the middle of the boonies and expect no visitors.

Passing out candy to the kiddies. Last year we had eight trick-or-treaters. Hope to have another big turn out this year. [:D]

    A and B....

This year, I actually have my son for Halloween Trick or Treating.

Ed decided he wants to be Optimus Prime.

Yeah. Along with every other boy in the neighborhood. (I asked everyone at the Blockwatch meeting the other day, so this is how I know)

It's gonna be "Night of the Living Optimus Primes" around here.

The wife and I have a pool to see how many Optimus Primes are going to show up to the door.

I guaran-damn-tee you that some Sheidan, OryGun kids will be pissing their pants when I greet them !!

What does "E" mean? It exists right?

F: October 31st is another lesser-known religious holiday that is celebrated by few which I observe and have observed since I was a small child. Even as a kid I never got into the costume and candy monkey business. There's a whole bunch of other cooked-up holidays I don't celebrate either.

It has become my tradition to spend All Hallow's Eve (Samhain) with my friend Mary, who is a Wiccan.
Halloween will mark 6 years since the day we buried my mother, today is the anniversary of the day she died.
Ever since the year she passed, we have gotten together at Mary's house, dressed in witches garb, started a little fire in her outdoor fireplace, and spent the evening with a couple glasses of wine, passing out candy to her few trick or treaters, chatting, sharing stories, and, of course, cackling like hags.
    We call it "Caroline Night."
Mike gets candy duty at home.

Dress in costume and go to parties, I go trick or treating too! Why not? People give me beer! [:D] I just carry a cooler instead of a bag.

We watch scary movies and hand out candy too.

I usually have some simple game for the kids to play such as a bean bag toss or ring toss. When they say "Trick or Treat", my standard lines are "Hmmm, I think I'll have a treat, what do you have" or "Trick, show me your trick". Mostly they stare back in confusion but occationally a kid will offer me candy or sing a song, tell a joke, etc.

My teenager and I try to give them a little scare while they're here. Only the older kids...we leave the little ones alone. We've become known as the ZOMBIE HOUSE. I truely believe we've cause some kids to pee in their pants. This year we'll do something different.

We get around 85 kids each year. That turns into alot of candy to have on hand...about $50 worth. I love it, a fun night for all...well, all that don't run screaming away that is.[}:)]

    B. Put on my 18th-century longhunter clothes (thank goodness for those heavy caped hunting shirts -- it'll be in the forties, tops, by evening), go to my ex-wife's, and hand out candy from what's normally my shooting pouch.
