I'm off to a meeting where we will discuss who to make the meeting less stagnate and less like a meeting.

I chuckle at the irony here.

    My contract has a "no meetings" clause.

    90% of meetings are a waste of time.

    Now please excuse me, I am off to a meeting with my mistress...

    We have meetings to decide when we're going to meet again. For years I thought that meetings were a necessary evil. Recently I have been working with a manager-type that makes meeting into a political game. It's almost like playing poker with him. He has strategies, agendas, plan B's and it's a treat to watch him in action. Even saying nothing at all is a ploy for him. He is a professional meeter.
