Who do you think is going to win the Formula 1 Driver's Championship?
How about the Manufacturer's Championship?
Ferrari looks good, with Kimi and Massa, but McLaren with Alonso and the rookie Hamilton seem to be almost up to the Ferrari challenge.
BMW will get better, too.
Honda looks like crap so far.
Wadda ya think?0 -
On your water auxillary supply. Using city water do you use a clorine?
additive to keep it for 6 months? Luckily I have also a useable well
for emergency use also that tests fairly well but plan to add clorine just in case. Last thing I read is that 16 drops of clorine bleach per
gal should do a bacteria kill. Any comments? You seem to be a expert on this subject.0 -
Who do you think will win the 2007 F1 Drivers championship? Alonso has left Renault for McLaren, Schumi has retired, Kimi will try to fill his (huge) shoes at Ferrari, and Button is still overrated IMHO
How about Manufacturers Championship? Brawn and Todt have left their positions at Ferrari...Renault and Briatore again??
Should be an interesing year, to say the least[:)]0 -
You don't happen to have ASM handbook #4 do you? 0 -
I am putting a new engine in my truck very soon. Is it ok to break it in with synthetic oil. I have 6 quarts that i was going to put in the old motor but the shattered timming gear stopped that one. 0 -
....That was all a misunderstanding due to poor spelling. He meant to say that he wanted to put a piece of BREAD into you.....[:D] 0 -
If you're being serious.. I think its all in what kind of chiggin it is.
Them was some tasty'uns0 -
you have vast knowledge of oil and ect.
do you know locations where there may be oil?
reason i ask is couple years ago or so a trucker who delivered couple semiloads of fertilizer, asked me if mineral rights was changing ownership in the area....said i didn't know that they were..he told me his family drills oil and gas wells in Wy said we are sitting on top of oil here in Cent S.Dak......there is some nat gas around the area...we have the flaming fountain in Pierre a flowing water well that has natural gas that has been lit and burning for many years have been told that if there is nat gas there is oil around also....told him there are alot of artesian flowing water well that are around half mile deep and nobody has hit oil yet...i know oil can and is alot deeper than that.
on edit years ago they drilled here trying to find the southern end of the williston oil basin...but found an artesian well that got away from them....this was back in the fifties....they have since drilled here again....and nobody knows if they found oil or not.0 -
I gotta say that I really enjoy your posts and think you must be a decent and worthwhile fellow.
Keep up the good work0 -
I agree with everything you just said. Honda looks like a backmarker for the season. I was impressed with Hamilton and while he needs a bit of additional car control he is for real! Alonso just does not appear to be as comfortable in the McLaren as Kimi appears to be in his Ferrari, but the season is still very young and Fernando is a very capable driver and a top competitor. While Kimi vs. Fernando may not be Senna vs. Prost (we'll never see racing like that again [V]), it is at least the equal of Michael vs. Mika, and that was always a good show. BMW shows promise but Toyota looks like it is headed for another season of disappointment, despite spending (it is claimed) more money that anyone else on the grid. I look for Kimi to take the drivers title but I think that the constructors title is going to be very close between Ferrari and McLaren, with Massa's performance being the determining factor. With the points structure the way it is currently Massa must get onto the podium along with kimi if Ferrari is going to take the constructors title. Otherwise A series Kimi, Alonso, Hamilton poduims (which we saw in the season opener) means the McLaren will edge Ferrari out in constructors points. I don't care for having only the single tire manufacturer (Bridgestone) or the engine freeze because I hate the idea of F1 becoming a spec-series. Any way you cut it it is going to be one of the most interesting years F1 has had in at least a full decade. 0 -
Yeah, the one tire thing is lame, and the engine freeze idea sucks.
Yes, I think you are right, this is going to be a great season for F1.
It is hard to believe that Schumi is gone, though....0
