Time for a reality check. A pistol is the last thing I'm worried about when there are SO MANY MORE AK-47's and 7.62 ammo running around that part of the world.
Take Iraq for example. The black market will pay $1+ per 9mm round that can be scrounged up. It's not the pistols that we should be worried about. It's the AK's being aimed at us that would give me cause for concern.
I'll be buying a Glock 20 in the next few months.0 -

But that's because there are so many others first on my list.

Funny Glock story, I went into the gun shop and thier was a sign saying "Throw your unwanted Glocks in here" I laughed and asked how many they got and the owner was confused he said what do you mean, I said do you get a lot of those thrown in there? He said yea we get a bunch of them, I was shocked and then I looked closer it said "Throw your unwanted gun locks in here" !!!! 0 -

For the love of Pete, doesn't anyone remember a nasty little episode called Iran-Contra, where we sold weapons to both Iran and Iraq while they were at war? One of the more cynical moves over ours I can remember. You think none of those weapons are being used against us now?

I would buy one again if the mood ever strikes me, but they are low on my list of things to get.0 -
I have said this before and I'll say it again......
If you dont like Glocks, then for Gods sake dont buy one. No one should ever buy something they dont want to own. What I dont understand are those who own a Glock but say they dont like it..... sig232 & eboydell... Whats with that? Then sell it or give it away.
But for those of us who like Glocks, we will continue to own and buy them no matter what people say.
If insurgents in Iraq started showing up on the battlefield with Glocks supplied by Iran, who cares, they cant shoot straight with AK's. Imagine how bad they would be with handguns.
On another note..... We are upset that bomb materials for road side bombs are being supplied by Iran to be used against US troops. Not a good thing, but what do we expect?
Hell, we did the same thing in Afghanastan when we supplied Stinger missles to the Mujahadeen to help defeat the Russians when they were there.0
