Research the MP-40, they issued a curved barrel for those during WW-2. They (curved barrels) are intended for urban fighting. One big problem is that they have a very high wear rate at the "bend". 0 -
...What TG said. The barrels would sustain major wear effecting accuracy (whatever that might have been!) after just a few rounds, in the radius of the curve. The barrels would fatigue and wear thru completely shrtly after in that area...[;)]

A curved "barrel" (more of a "C" channel) ATTACHMENT was designed for the M3 "Grease Gun" for firing around corners.
The German device wasn't a fixed barrel, it was also an attachment.
EDIT - info added: Apparently strange device for shooting around the corners without exposing the shooter, but actually ingenious design for buttoned armored vehicle crew to have advantage against assaulting Soviet infantry.0 -

It was made in three different degrees of bend.
It was the Krummlauf attachment and was originally intended for the '98, but the shorter bullet of other weapons made it more practical to use them, and the version for full sized rifles got dropped.
My reference books show a "J" or "Jager" model with a 30 degree bend, a "P" or "Panzer" model with a 90 degree bend, and a "V" of "Versuchs" model with a 40 degree bend. According to the source, only the "J" was produced in any numbers, only about 10,000 were ordered, and only about 300 actually made it into service.
It used a prismatic sight to aim with and had ventilation holes in the outside surface of the curve to compensate for barrel jump from deflecting the bullet.0 -
