Really? That's pretty cool if true.

I'll have to check my vehicle, lol. I can't even remember which side of the instrument cluster my gas gauge is on.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but my gas gauge is on the right side of the instrument panel and the cap is on the left[;)]. Vehicle is a 2000 S-10 Blazer.

Then you must return the car and have another instrument panel fitted..

You obviously have the brittish standard installed... [:D]

Oh - and my VW Golf Variant... had the gas-cap and indicator on the same side...

Wrong. My '93 F150's gas gauge is on the right and the gas doors are on the left.

I drive a Mercedes S-550. The fuel gauge is on the left side of the intrument panel while the fuel filler opening is on the passenger side (right) of the car.

The picture of the filling pump is what he meant to say. Some models also have an arrow discretely pointing to where it is.

My Eldorado had the fuel gauge on the right but the filler was under the license plate in the back.

My VW Bug had the gas tank under the hood, and my 1931 Ford Model A had it behind the firewall.

Sawney Beane, his wife, 8 sons, 6 daughters, and 32 grandchildren were a family of cannibals that lived in the caves near Galloway, Scotland in the early 17th Century. Although the total number is not known, it is believed they claimed over 50 victims per year. The entire family was taken by an army detachment to Edinburgh and executed, apparently without trial.

Older Jag SJ-S coupes have fuel fillers on both sides of the body and the fuel gauge is DEAD CENTER in the dash!

I am going to have to check this out......and I have two cars with the tanks on opposite sides. I just can't think of where the guages are. The BMW has the gas cap on the passenger side. The Ford Escape has the cap on the driver's side. I know the BMW has the guage on the left side of the dash.....but I can't think of where the guage is on the Escape.

Aircraft airspeed indicators have always been in the upper left position on the instrument panel.

...and what did the Russians do with their new nuts?

I'm so disappointed. That would have been perhaps the most useful useless tidbit I'd picked up all week.

Behram, an Indian thug, holds the record for most murders by a single individual. He strangled 931 people between 1790-1840 with a piece of yellow and white cloth, called a ruhmal. The most murders by a woman are 612, by Countess Erzsebet Bathory of Hungary.

    I've said it before....

If you wear two shirts, you're belly button lint will be the color of the shirt on the outside.

Example....A red undershirt and a blue shirt over that, you're belly button lint will be blue.

On 2 out of 3 of mine this is not true, only on the Tracker does this hold true.
