    Yes there was food in the tent but not people food (well technically it was people food)[}:)][}:)]

    Good for that dad.

    since the animal rights groups have pushed for and put an end to hound hunting in several states, the bear are becoming less and less afraid of humans.

    Poor game management to let the uninformed general public, and those fooled by animal rights groups, vote on whether a form of hunting can be used when that same form of hunting was effective in controlling the bear population and maintaining a certain level of fear of humans in the bear.

    ...I am appalled that this man chose protecting his son, rather than protecting the very precious life of Poo Bear, how sad! When will "man" learn that the killing of ANY animal under any circumstance, is just plain wrong!

    I grew up in those woods where the 11 yr old was killed. traggic for sure.

    The parties involed have said that the FS and DOW should be held responsible for not protecting them better.

    SO

    As of Today there are several campgrounds in Weber caynon closed. and will remain closed until the bears are captured and or relocated.
    Juab County has also had similar reports since this insident and officals will be closing those campgrounds as well until the bears are relocated.

    "Public saftey" is going to become the number one reason they take everything away from us.[V]
