What will you spend on Christmas?

Giving each of the grown kids (wife's-2, my-2) a pre-paid Visa (each) plus a few other knick-knacks---gifts for the wife's mom/dad/step-mom plus gifts for the two of us will be about $1,500.00-$2,000.00. Most of that will be for the grown kids.

What's your Christmas gonna cost?

    We are doing gift giving a little different this year. Instead of spending $50-$100 on 7 or so people, we picked names out of a hat and now each of us just buy for one other - kind of a "secret santa". Thing is that my cheapskate inlaws will look at this as an opportunity to buy 1 $35-$50 gift.

    We'll spend a few hundred or so for our kids. And everyone buys for the kids.

    Probably $2-$3k total spent!
