Taurus PT22 help w/cocking Q
1) I've had this gun for ages and never fired it.
2) I've been thru surgery (Duprens contracture) on both hands in the last 2 years and not much strength in these hands now.
Now, (that said) I can't cock this gun any more But it appears I don't need to ?? please correct me as I'm here asking.
If I have ammo in the clip and one in the chamber and pull off a shot, I shouldn't have to worry about cocking this PT22.
Is this right??

Watch out! Make sure you have a bullet in the chamber before firing this pistol. The firing pin will break if you dry fire this gun empty.
That said, you simply pop up the barrel with the lever on the side and put a round in the chamber and you are good to go. Its all double action from there on until the gun is empty.
Have fun its a nice little pistol if you follow the instruction manual and keep it clean and observe the warning above.0 -
