Raining like a mutha
We had about 15 minutes of a real frog choker and now nothing but distant thunder. A real thunderstorm is almost nonexistant around here anymore. We need days of serious rain to catch up and recharge Grenada lake, and I guess, Sardis.

We had a few clouds gather up in the Southeast this morning. I thought we might get a drop of rain for a little while, but it's pretty much cleared up now. I think it has rained in Halifax County before, but I don't know anybody who can remember it. 0 -

We just got cleared on a tornado warning. It looks like one may have touched down a few miles south of here. 0 -

We lost power in that storm within five minutes of my previous post and didn't get it back for well over four hours. The tornado and general strong winds evidentially knocked out a relay or something. 0 -
