A Request for Anyone Who Agrees
I just sent this to my representatives. I am asking anyone who is in agreement with me to do something similar. Lets do what we can to help.
Sir:
I would like to ask your assistance in correcting what I and many other Americans consider to be a serious miscarriage of justice.
I'm referring to the terrible treatment of two of our Border Patrol agents who are being railroaded for doing their job. I am of course speaking of Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean who fired on a known drug dealer and illegal alien attempting to smuggle drugs into the USA across the border with Mexico.
It is my understanding that some slime ball US attorney has given him immunity in exchange for his testimony against conciencious agents only trying to do their jobs, and it has resulted in their imprisonment. In addition, I understand he is suing the USA for several million dollars, which he will likely be awarded by our (in my opinion) sick and failing judicial system. (As a side note, I believe the majority of our American citizenry agree with me, and we are feeling less and less confidence in our government each and every day.)
I also have been informed by national news that Rep. John Culberson, R-Texas has obtained a confession from DHS I nspector General Richard L.
Skinner, that the Dept of Homeland Security lied during the trial of the agents in the following areas:
WND previously reported that at that meeting the DHS Inspector General's office
asserted it had documentary evidence Ramos and Compean:
1. confessed to knowingly shooting at an unarmed suspect;
2. stated during the interrogation they did not believe the suspect was a threat
to them at the time of the shooting;
3. stated that day they "wanted to shoot a Mexican";
4. were belligerent to investigators ;
5. destroyed evidence and lied to investigators.
Sir, I consider the conviction of these two Americans to be an outrage. As a voting citizen of Tennessee, I once more ask for your assistance in seeing that these men are either given a full pardon or at the very least, a fair trial, which so far they HAVE NOT been allowed.

...you might as well add the young sheriff in south Texas that just got convicted of shooting at a SUV with 9(?) illegals...that tried to run him over. He was shooting at the tires and hit one of them ( a bullet fragment) in the lip...very minor wound.
Town was North of Del Rio...and his first name is Gilmer, a mexican last name...I forget. ROCK SPRINGS!...that's the town.
...The whole town including the Chief is outraged, and behind him.
Sidenote: the Fed prosecutor was the same one that screwed the agents you mentioned.
Boy, sure would make you want to make a career in law enforcement along the border wouldn't it? Sad, the Fed's have it all bass akwards...[V][xx(]

I just don't get what our goverment is thinking putting these two border agents away along with that sheriff. Seems like Sutton needs to test how well gravity is working these days by hopping off the nearest tallest building.
