I like your choice of stocks--and your choice of "quotes."

Nice duracoating job! How was it? I've been thinking of trying it. How difficult was the application? Did he use the cheapy applicators they sell or did he use a better airbrush set-up? I'm SO tempted...got a Ruger P9 carbine that needs some "jazzin' up."

Why would you put a collapsable butt stock on an SKS?

A straight grip is better for bayonet fighting and the pistol grip is better for shooting-a tough decision. The telescoping stock seems pointless compared to a sidefolder.
The camoflaged SkS pattern looks good but will it cook off when the barrel gets hot?

He used my Paasch airbrush and the blue colored painters masking tape.He sprayed a base coat and tore strips of tape and applied another coat. Then he tore more strips and applied third coat. This was his first attempt using duracoat.another member, dcloco, has had several projects turn out great also.
