Is this the ESPN one? With the "Saving Private Ryan" sniper playing the role of Earnhardt?

No this one is suppost to be much better!

It was in limited theaters across the country for only a couple days (ment to be that way)!

Dale Jr even said this one made him feel like he had a back stage pass to his fathers life!

A friend of mine was sitting at turn 3 at Daytona that day. He told me that a real man like Jeff Gordon would have walked away from the accident.

Your friend is an ass. Not because I liked Earnhardt, I did not, but because of the stupid comment. Don

Watched it last night, almost brought a tear to my eye.
One of the last of a dying breed of racers who paid their dues with their own sweat, instead of these candy-a$$ed, spoon-fed, spit and polished, Stepford wife, media pretty-boys of NASCAR today.
Oh yeah, he was a jerk, no doubt about it. I hated him "back in the day."

Couldn't have said it better myself except back in the day I was a 3 fan.

Ford fan myself then. I quit picking racers to cheer for after Davey died, then Alan, then Ernie's crash.
Friends still try to convince me to become a Gordon fan.[;)]

I watched it, and felt it was pretty good. I have always been a Ford fan, and Bill Elliot or Mark Martin used to be my favorites. However, I can not see how anyone who ever watched or followed NASCAR couldn't come away with nothing but admiration & respect for Dale Earnhardt. The race hasn't been the same since he died on Feb 15 2001 on the last lap of the Daytona race. I have always felt that he had the fastest car that day, and if he had not have been trying to block other drivers from catching the two DEI cars driven by Michael Waltrip & Jr, he himself would have been in the lead, and would have won his second Daytona.

I was always impressed with his devotion to Richard Childress Racing. I mean, the man had more money than enought, had his own team, and still continued to run for Childress.
The days when such out-dated concepts as "loyalty", "partnership", and "friendship" meant something....[V]

he was like Tony Stewart, sort of, except when he stuffed you, he was being the 'intimidator', when Tony does it, he's being a prick.....:)

political correctness has no place in motorsports. when it does, they call it 'NASCAR".......

He did win 7 championships which is tied with Petty for the most[;)]. The win stats are a little hard to go by in my opinion. For one, they had 50 some odd races a year back in Richards's days and all the drivers didn't start out at the younger ages they do now. I was never a big Dale fan, but I liked wathcing it when he raced.
