I can't really call any of 'em a "favorite". I've got 22lr to 44mag. It just depends on the reason I'm shooting it. I'd probably rank the 270WSM at the bottom of the rounds I own, just because I'm disappointed in it's lack of superiority over the .270 Win. 0 -

218beekeep - I have to tell you. Your "life partner" has been pulling one over on you. She CLOCKED you with a pre 64 in 30-06, because your "life partner" could see that you enjoyed this hobby immensely and it would continue to cost you AND the "life partner" more and more money. Your "life partner" recognized this by the look on your face after shooting and TOOK ADVANTAGE of the situation and a healthy stock from the Winchester.

No,I can't play this silly
crap anymore..I love the 225 win,
the 250-sav is my fave.
I prefer it's baby,the 22-250
over the swift,only cause of
the efficiancy...the way I
prefer the 243 over the 6-mm
same reason.
The swift and the 6 mm can
slightly go faster but with
a longer casing...and more powder.[8D]

Yep![:D] Another very neat cartridge is the .219 Zipper when loaded for a single shot rifle[^]0 -
I like the .22lr just because you can spend $10 and shoot for hours with both rifles and handguns. For handguns (other than .22) I think my favorite is the .40. Rifles would be .223. My "life partner" (aka: wife, boss, war chief, etc) recently bought me a dillion 550 thinking it would cut down the cost of ammo. What she didn't realize was that it is not going to cut down on the amount of money spent, it only increases the time spent at the range.[:D] 0
