    I have little sympathy for gun sellers that blantantly disregard the laws controlling gun sales.

    They do our cause serious harm as evidenced by the article...

    "...Demonstrated with a high degree of probability...". Is that like saying, we really think he did it but don't really have any proof? "In the city-financed operation, one investigator filled out the paperwork for a gun while making it clear the purchase was for a second investigator". "...private investigators." Gifts are not straw purchases. Just what did this private investegator say? Not saying anything about guilt or innocents. I just need a lot more facts and there is none here. Just allogations of maybes.

    They should notify the local authorities and let them handle it. NY city does not control the US nor should they be able to push their agenda outside of their boundary.

    This was a big anti gun campaign that was started by our now illustrious governor, Elliot Spitzer. It went hand in hand with the Brady campaign, and the Clinton Administrations frivulous law suits, and the deal they struck up with Smith and Wesson...any one remember that?

    The Majority of us here in UPSTATE NEW YORK, all wish that we could just take a big land saw, and cut off Long Island, New York City, put Spitzer, and the Clintons on it, drag it out into the ocean, and sink it. It seems as it has the most population in the state, of which all the rest of are forced to support with ever increasing taxes.

    this is all bogus, and unless fire is faught with fire it will continue. those out of state dealers/distributors need to file counter suits for the millions they are loosing against not only the state, but the idiots initiating it.
