Headed into the hills to setup camp, first season elk hunt starts saturday @ dark thiry. see you fellas next, next week if i can help it.

    Good hunting. We set camp for my father's hunt today. I'll go up Friday night.

    Well I Made it back, but was unsuccessful [:(]. The weather was terrible sunday snowed all day. monday morning the elk where scattered. tuesday morning i finally found the elk again but there where no legal bulls to be taken in that particular herd. this morning the last day awoke to 6" of snow and still falling broke down camp and buy the time we gone things loaded there was 12" and snowing as hard as I have seen in a long time.

    Sorry no pic's there was this incident involving my truck and the camera. and after that the camera wasn't recognizable as a camera anymore. [:(]

    Oh well, as they say the worst week of hunting is better than the best week at work
