Springfield EMP or CZ 75C?

Is the Springfield twice as good as the CZ 75C? It costs at least twice as much?

    I would personally prefer the CZ as it fits my hand much better than the Springfield, but when buying a gun you should never look at what the gun cost, insted look at how well the gun fits you, after all if you take good care of it it will last you a lifetime

    I am left handed and I don't see a safety on the P01.

    The P-01 is a Decocker. Thus, no safety.

    I'm a die hard CZ fan, so you know what my choice would be.

    What is a decocker? How does it work and what side of the gun is it on? If its that thing on the left side of the gun in the picture, how does a lefty use it?

    By 75 "C" do you mean, compact?

    You chamber a round and press the decocker. It safely brings the hammer down to 1/2 cock so your first round is like a double action. Then you're S/A after that. It's on the left side rear of the gun, same place as the safety.

    Not sure how a lefty will use it, you'll have to figure out which way suits you the best...


    If you are not looking for a compact get a CZ 85, it's ambidextrous.

    I really like the looks of the P-01. Is the technology good? I have only had a Beretta Tomcat.

    I'll stand up for the CZ75B, its got to be one of the best 9MM's ever made. One site that list the best 9MM's has CZ as number 1. I like Springfield and own a few, I think they are great guns. But the CZ is carried by more Military's as their sidearm than any other gun in the world. There may be some just as good, but none better.
