    My uncle brought one of these back from WWII, along with a letter signed by Dwight D. Eisenhower giving him permission to bring it home. I have personally handled it on occasion. He kept it for years, intending it to be "insurance" for my aunt on his death. BUT, prior to his death, his son (aunt's step-son) took it, the letter and all his other guns back to New Orleans. My aunt didn't find out until my uncle died and she started looking for the guns. Who know where the STG wound up or what he got for it.
