Not since that pesky, "No discharging a firearm within the city limits" ordinance was enacted.

    Dammit.

Time to get out the crossbow, Colonel.

I like the way you think.

Cheaper and easier than suppressing a 270WSM, I'll bet.

    Five deer tags-$186
    M1 Grand with 5 shot clip-$10
Phone call to butcher- 10 cents

Deer Hunting in your PJ's, with coffee.- Priceless![:D]

Edit: wanted to add, this looks like my folks place at 4AM. Mom said no to me on the roof top as much as she hates to say that. I am to old for this stuff![;)][8D]

wayooo too easy,...too close. I'd opt for the picture opportunity and the chance to watch/film them rather than shoot. But Crop damage permits keep my blood lust well under control.

Now if I had a 40acre backyard like some of these guys,..yeah I'd shoot one at 200+ yds if he was nice enough to mount. My rule is,..let bucks walk unless you are enamored enough to pay a taxedermist,..if not, let them grow and breed. Except if they display poor DNA traits,..then take them out of the breeding stock.

    If M1 Garands are only $10 dollars a piece - I might consider 5 for a giveaway.

Yes, if it was safe and legal! Looks like a bachelor party! That's a mess of venison under the trampoline ... what's next!?

Shot a buck through an open window at my in-laws last thanksgiving. Easy pickins with the trusty 222.

-No, not a visitor to my home. It is not my idea of a sporting situation. I don't need to kill to eat, so if I'm going to kill, I'm going after them on their turf and I will eat that kill.

Well, I don't need to kill a deer either to have food. Just that I prefer venison over beef or pork. Those deer would be way to close to the BBQ pit in my back yard, and I wouldn't want to see one ortwo of them get hurt by accidently running into the spit. So yes I would pop them first...no questions asked. Never look a gift horse in the mouth. Yes I love to hunt, and out smart them on their"own turf", but I am afraid in this situation, the oppurtunist in me would take over, and the 17 HMR would be put to good use.

maybe... If I had a lot of people to feed. But they seem more valuable alive.
