I like the color. I don't like the grain. 0 -
The grain reminds me of an old plaid suit on a salesman for some reason. 0 -
The tiger stripe is nice, but I prefer darker wood on blued guns 0 -
Gotta agree on the comment about dark wood, but I have looked at this a few times now and it seems to be growing on me. Not sure if it is because it is "different" or if it has just taken a while, but I am starting to like it[:D].

I like the look of lighter grips on a dark pistol, but they do need some checking to break up the look a bit. 0 -

It doesn't matter what kind of dress a beauty queen wears, the beauty still shows through......[:)][:)]

Last night while I was throwing firewood into the woodstove I said to myself "tonight i will make 1911 stocks instead of burnuing this"
All tools used were a skil saw, belt sander, rat tailed file, drill.
I were just my rough drafts carved from a chunk of fire wood in about an hour and a half from start to finish just so I could see what they look like on a pistol.
Next time I would take my time and make them perfect0 -
No poop...I'm impressed... 0 -
I like contrasting colors on guns. If it's blued, I like blonde, stag or ivory grips. If it's stainless, I like dark walnut or even black pearl grips. The more the contrast, the better I like it.
Those look good to me.0 -
