that is a series 1, they where listed at 1,200, but where actually sold for around 980 if you could get one, your price is very fair due to the fact it is a series 1, and cannot be purchased again

if'n i had the cash i'd be bidding

thanks, but it may be a few months, and couldn't really commit that kinda money right now, my real estate taxes are due, and a year of insurance, it bites because i have been wanting one since they came out, and when i do have the cash there is not one to be found, i bought a kimber splash a few years ago, but it is a series 2 not what i really want, it is actually the same gun but with a fancy anodized frame instead of black

Send me yours...I'll send you mine. You pay the difference in the price yours sells for. There is an idea. You can work out something with me on the difference if you like. Just let me know how I can help you get what you want!

I have one just like it except it has had some custom work done at Kimber.
I bought mine at a gun show for $700 about 1.5 years ago.
I would not sell mine for 1200.
    Great gun, never a malfunction.

I've got the Pro-Carry CDP series 1 and its a great shooter ... I haven't bought a new Kimber since they started the II line ... I like the 70 series design.

I'm suprised someone hasn't snatched it up at your BIN!

technically true but it is splitting hairs, saying series 1 saves many steps, in the description process, tell any die hard fan you have a "kimber", and see what question comes next

locust thanks again for the offer, the blue kimber is 1 of 300, and sells for a bit more

+1 ... and a lot of sellers only list them as Kimber and not Kimber II, sometimes the only indication that the gun is a "II" is a picture.

I guessed as much...thats why I said...."I don't mind" [:)] its a pretty one. I hope this one sells so I can get this mess with my car handled. I have been driving my brother's mustang and I just don't want to any more!

I've got a Ultra CDPII, and don't find a thing wrong with them. I also have one of the first Custon Targets and a Pro Carry, all three are tops!

You can't go wrong with Kimbers as far as I'm concerned.

have you put 30,000 rounds through it yet?

locust i do want to thank you again for your most generous offer, one of these days you will have something i need at the same time i have cash, i would loose sleep everyday until i paid for it.

i was thinking while at work about the kimber l vs. kimber ll discussion, and i think ww l vs. ww ll is a good analogy, before ww ll, ww l was not known as ww l just the world war
