Long time customer came in today and had a present for me.[:)]

1891 Argentine mauser execelent condition. He bought it about 40 years ago and never shot it.
Only catch is I have to fix an electrical problem on his 67 Lincon Continental 4dr convertable (all oringnal 40,000 miles like new)
He also has a luger,ppk and a BROOMHANDLE MAUSER[:D] that will soon be mine. I wish I had more customers like him.
Just had to brag.[;)]

    I think this guy is glad to see it go to a good home. His kids and grand kids have no interest in firearms and he wants to see them taken care of. I offered to pay him a fair price but he wouldn't take it. Still I have a hard time accepting gifts like this.

    Congrats on the trade. That looks like a very nice piece.

    I have an 1891 model that I picked up 6 or 7 years ago. I have been looking for a 1891 carbine to make a pair for a year or more without any success. Either too rough or too expensive.
