Limewire MP3 transfer to Itunes?

How would I transfer songs I have on Limewire over to my Itunes?

    Add the folder the songs from limewire are in onto itunes. In itunes under file there will be a menu for add folder.

    I was poking around and can't figure it out.
    I know it will be simple as soon as it clicks in my head.

    If you rightclick on your download bar you should be able to see something like download path or destination, you just have to remember and go through your computer to find the folder. IIRC it is usually C:-> Program Files->Limewire->Data

    I was able to move the whole list to Itunes[8D]

    Were they in the same format so you can play them on your Ipod? or did it convert them when you loaded them into itunes? I thought Itunes had a proprietary format?

    I don't know about formats.
    I did get the files to move to my itunes but it made a seperate library for the new file and wont upload them to my Ipod.

    I feel real stupid about these ipods and how to make them work.

    I moved my itunes folder from my old computer to my new computer. It was not complicated, but there was a specific procedure I had to use for the Ipod to recognize the files on the new computer. If you go to the itunes program and look at their help page there is some directions for this. That's what I did and they provided step by step instructions. Maybe it will help you get access to your other files.
