Looks like I have Lymes disease.
Guess I've been lucky up until now. Got an iv in my arm and going back this aftternoon for another dose and again Sunday. Dr. says I waited too long but hey, I could still walk. Did have to get help to climb stairs and get on tractor and oh yeah, get out of a chair, but you know things need taken care of. Kids say "dummy".

Is that one that you get only once and then have immunity? If it's possible to get it twice, do you plan on getting the vaccination series?
I used to work on the very edge of lyme disease range, probability of my getting it was almost nil. But my father's a physician and brought the vaccinations home and vaccinated me. I have no idea how long the vaccination is supposed to last.0 -

My ex-wife had Lyme disease. It's life long and never goes away, like Syphilis (sp). It's not the end of the world though. She managed it well and treated it when it flared up. The net is loaded with info on it and research is ongoing. You will survive just fine.[:D] 0 -
Have you been diagnosed with Lyme's disease, I hope not, those are the same symptoms of sleep apnea, which isn't that bad I have it an can push myself to function. 0
