Woohoo look what followed me home today

Went to a new gunstore today and ended up buying a Para Ordinance 1911 LTC Commander. Gonna start looking for better looking grips. Can't wait to go to the range tomorrow!!

    I'll second that. I've got them on my Sig P229. I love them. I think you would too on that fine new pistol.

    While I don't own a PARA, I have shot a few that belong to friends. Friends like 'em and I thought they were nice to.

    Full size frame with a 4.25" barrel. I was looking for a full size 1911 and decided I couldn't live without this one. I like the full size grip with the shorter barrel. They had an alloy LTC but it was "coyote" tan which I didn't care for. I think I got a good deal on it. I think it will end up being my favorite handgun.
