I wonder how this BSA scope will hold up

  It will probably hold up just fine, if you take it off and put it on a 22.

  I've had great luck with BSA scopes. Have one on my son's 22, and one on his 243. Granted, the recoil is not what is on the M44, but they have held up for me. Great clarity, hold their zero, and have killed numerous squirrel and deer.

  I have many BSA scopes and they work well, hold zero and are very clear, however, all of mine are also on .22's or 5MM Mags or .17 HMR's. ghs

  I have a BSA Panther on my .22 mag. About 1000 rounds through it and havent touched the scope once.

  BSA makes a decent scope.
