Picked this up yesterday
I had been wanting a walther p22 but had been looking for the cheapest price. Well I ran across a slightly used on yesterday at a pawn shop and made the guy a offer and he took it. I want to get the 3.5 inch barrell for it also so if anyone knows where I can get the best price on it let me know. The only thought in the back of my head though is should I have gotten the carbon fiber model. Oh well. I put it beside my 45 in on of the pics It is a small little piece. Gonna shoot it today

Congratulations on your newest acquisition!
My wife has had one for close to a year. It's a fun gun to shoot and very accurate as well. We did determine that it IS ammo-specific to some extent and that Remington's Thunderbolt 22LR works the best in hers. CCI, Federal and American Ammo (Federal?) all had major FTF's and a couple of FTF's, too.0 -
what does something like this go for? 0 -
had one for about 8 months now, short bbl with walther laser setup...no troubles at all shooting, used winchester & aguila super max....was told to get clips with the (A) in the number....i like it 0 -
Well I have now shot it in the back yard at various targets and I must say it is pretty darn accurate. It is a very small and nifty 22. I was shooting standard Federal copper plated hollow points 36 grain. This pistol is very light also whether I had it in my back pocket or in belt holster I didnt even feel like it was there. The sights are very easy on the eyes and make for quick target aquisition. shot all 10 in the clip once pretty fast staying on target with relative ease. The only thing that I have found is that the compensator has just a little bit of play but not nearly enough to affect the accuracy. I think this may be the funnest, best looking and maybe most versatale ( once I get a 3.5 inch and lo9ok into all the rail mounted accessories) 22 pistols that I have owned. I think I did read on here once where someone converted theirs to shoot 17 mach 2 That I will have to look into also. Overall I am Very happy with it I paid $275 That was $75 cheaper than brand new and It seems to be in close to excellent-new condition. 0 -
I've got the short barrel on mine. If you want to trade barrels, let me know. You'll enjoy it. The shoot great. 0 -

I was told that they require a hotter load than most target .22s to cycle 0 -
