Do u really need a license to drive???????????????

  In the 1970's I had a neighbor LLoyd then in his 80's who could'nt read or write and wasn't licensed, he got hit by another guy who didn't have a license, the cops came and ticketed both of them, ending their driving days, these two gumbas became friends and had great fun learning to ride on three wheel bikes.
  
  As a side bar my father drove untill he was 93, and once told a driver test guy when asked to give a hand signal "Where the hell have you been they haven't given hand signals since the forties," when the driving test instructor commented on how his car was all dented up, he told him it had a few "whiskey bumps", we had to go to another DMV place in a small town to get him licensed, when he died his license was good for three more years.
