Worms in my salad
About an hour ago I was hungry so I boiled some water and cooked one of those boxed pasta salads.
I ate the hell out of it. The wife gets home and gets a bowl full. She takes one look and sees it is has some little white worms mixed in it. She threw hers away and said she felt like getting sick.
I told her not to puke in the bowl of salad as it was full of extra protien and was good for us.
What is the big deal? The little buggers got boiled and don't affect the taste.

With white worms, you should have had a good white wine to go with them. Even a blush would have worked.[;)] 0 -

....Probably larva of the Indian meal moth. Surprised you didn't see fine webbing when you opened the package. They're gross, but harmless. I've been partway through a bowl of oatmeal before I noticed them.
....If you had any idea what else goes into grain products, a few moth larva wouldn't sound so bad.0 -

lol I still got a couple "Tejas Toothpicks" out in the garage. My sons did all the skinning this year and they didn't save any. They think dad is weird for collecting those things.0 -
