More specific and Egyptian Hakkim (sp?) . Friend of mine was out yesterday shooting and every 2nd or 3rd shot didn't discharge. Upon inspection we notice the casings that had fired had a deeper dent in the primer than the ones that did not fire. 2 questions, do you think this is a firing pin/spring problem? And if so, anyone know where to get parts at a reasonable price?

  yes all i could find were the bench rest one shot followers that i already have

  no luck at either of them. they both had the single shot follower but didnt have the other.

  What kind of mauser is it based on? If it is a milsurp action, you should be able to use/find a regular follower...

  When I built my Mauser in 22-250, I got a follower spring from a Remington 308 and cut down my Mauser follower, then put a block in the back of the mag well to take up the extra space.
