My friends know that I get all mushy over pre-war S&Ws. I got this at a local show last week. A 3rd Model .44 Special of 1926 with a 5" barrel. Wrong stocks and refinished I thought it a good shooter at $425. In nice original condition one of these will fetch $1,000-$1,200 with ease but I don't buy those.
