Using the govtrack link in another post, I found a few bills Pelosi, et al have waiting in the wings for ALL of you:
HR40-Slavery reparations
HR73- Gun Rights
HR96-Gun Show "loophole"
HR133- No more Anchor Babies
HR134- More Aliens
HR203-Gun Confiscation
HR240-Relief for Alemseghed Mussie Tesfamical (some islamist)
HR256-Kids, Guns
HR267-Empty Gitmo
HR297-NICS "improvement"
HR662-Japanese reparations
HR808-Establish a Dept. of Peace & Non-Violence
MOST of this won't ever see the light of day, but with all the apathetic losers that happen to own guns nowadays unwilling to let the gub'mint know how they feel; count on several of these (and MORE) being signed into LAW.
Oh yeah, look for more of this sort of thing for as long as Pelosi and her herd of trained monkeys are in office.

    OK, as i am reading this so far, HR73 looks like a good thing. HR96 so far looks like a registry. quote:`(C) before the commencement of the special firearms event, or in the case of a vendor who arrives after the commencement of the event, upon the arrival of the vendor, requires each special firearms event vendor to sign--

    `(i) a ledger with identifying information concerning the vendor; and

    `(ii) a notice advising the vendor of the obligations of the vendor under this chapter;

    `(D) notifies each person who attends the special firearms event of the requirements of this chapter, in accordance with such regulations as the Attorney General shall prescribe;

    `(E) not later than 5 days after the last day of the special firearms event, submits to the Attorney General a copy of the ledger and notice described in subparagraph (C)(i); and

    `(F) maintains a copy of the records described in subparagraphs (B) and (C) at the permanent place of business of the operator for such period of time and in such form as the Attorney General shall require by regulation.


    so far it seems they wanna know who is going to sell anything at a gun show. "if we know who's sellin em, we know who's gottem." kinda thing.

    reading on, HR96 also seems to make it illegal for private sales or trades even outside the show in the parking lot.

    Pelosi's Congress is the "Do-Nothing" Congress. If accomplish anything meaningful or relevant in the first 5 months, can anything come out of this Congress. I'm starting to think "Air Pelosi" is a just reward for a quality lack of accomplishments.

    And this is bad how? ANYTIME Congress does ANYTHING for the "good of the people", we get royally screwed! I kinda like Congress split down party lines. That way, neither side's liberal nuts can get their agenda passed.

    Wow Rudy and NYC and Cook COunty would really like that law.

    Person: "No."
    LEO can arrest the person for lying and go to jail like Marta and Scooter.

    In places like Chicago, NYC, and Warshington, all weapons are considered a threat.


    Heck, I know of a woman who called the police from work and said she was battered because another employee took a swab the size of a toilet brush from her hand and threw it on the ground.

    Just what is a weapon?
    Baseball bat?
    Fat Albert bat?

    I can see how HR203 might be a good thing by removing temptation from an already tense situation, however it is one that can and more often than not, be abused quite easily. even if someone gives a false report, the guns would be confiscated and not returned to the rightful owner.
