I have started collecting ammo for around 1 year. I mostly have things that I have bought. The nice people on the site have been sending me some ammo to add to my collection. The thing I have noticed, is that military ammo is not marked with the caliber on the headstamp. Most of the ammo I have, has the caliber on it, so I know what it is. I'm new at this, and can't tell a 30-06 from a 8mm, just by site. I was just wondering why this is?. Are, or where there any nato, or other rules on this? Why do some shells have the caliber, and some not, only the date?

If Armor Piercing Ammo pierces armor, and Armor Piercing Incendiary Ammo pierces armor and burns, what does Corrosive Ammo do?

Speer 380 90gr HP and it looks good and hits hard but on the box it says Not for LE use Not to be repackaged and Practice ammo. Nickle case and Speer marking by the primer. It was packaged in bulk 250 rds and seems funny it's listed as practice ammo. Shot some and has a strong felt recoil.

What is it and why listed as stated above

you're in luck! most barrels are left handed twist, if you got a right handed twist barrel you'd have to buy right hand twist ammo

buschmaster, you could always give the guy some USEFUL information... [8D]

I don't own one, or even have a clue what caliber it is. But try some of each different brand for your self, see which you or the gun likes better.

    joking around is permitted.

actually, i'm ambidextrous when shooting pistols, lefty on rifles.

scharf: that is a bloody good idea.

the mak is a 9x18. some ammo is marked as 9mm, but not all 9mm will work. some too small, too big, too shiny, too happy....

    i love chocolate milk.
