I would encourage you to give Gunbroker a chance first. You can put as many pictures as you like for no extra charge. A thumbnail is only 25 cents and a counter 50 cents.

Being a non-gun item you would want to plug it pretty hard here and at any other forums you hang in.

MO is no issue here but would retard the bidding at fleabay to an extent.

I have to admit I'm about to give up on selling this item here and move it over to fleabay.

i've never put anything up for auction before, so i need to ask a question or 2...

I have a guitar that i want to put up. it's in really good condition. i have pics and it comes with extra strings and a hard case. would i have an easier time selling it here or on e---blah?

the reason i want to sell it is, since i don't play it, one of our illustrious members here has all the parts i need for a gun i want to build. he's asking an incredible price for it and i just can't pass the opportunity.

i do not have a cc,bank account, or paypal so i would have to have a mo for payment. would this hamper the sale?

please help...any advice you can offer is good advice.

You need a cc to sell on most auction sites. So your first step will be to get one. I don't see m o being a problem. I buy and sell on ebay all the time and I only use/accept m o.

are there many musicians on here that would bid on it?

my concern is that i don't know if i could make enough to cover all the fees and pay for the parts.

Just do like many on here do. Set a reserve to cover the cost of the fees and parts.

Then you should be good to go then.
Another thing to consider is how much it will cost to ship the guitar. I would check into that before you list it.
