range report
Finally got the chance to take the Beretta Neos .22 out to the range this weekend. Mounted a Sig red-dot scope on it that I bought from a friend. I put 450 rounds through it(Remington Viper's, Remington Thunderbolts, CCI Blazer's, CCI Velociter's, CCI Stinger's, and Federal blue box. Was really happy with the cycling and had 0 malfuctions, even when I loaded all 6 mags and rapid-fired the 60 rounds. Was very happy with that. I can't even say the same about my Ruger 22/45. Was also pretty happy with the trigger pull. I was a little disappointed with accuracy, not quite as good as my Ruger. It is definitely acceptable, but I am hoping it gets a little better the more I get it broke in and find the ammo it likes best. In the end I am very happy with this little pistol and it should serve it's intended purpose very well(a good little squirrel/plinking gun).

We went to a range called buffalo creek shooting range. It ws 25 bucks, and you could go toany of the ranges.We went to the rifle range to zero in out optics and then headed over to the pit. If you live in IL it is definatley worht the the drive. The colt handled all the ammo after the break in period, Some guy gave us 00buck and now im bruised. The only thing that came lose on the colt was my houge grip. I also left the binos at home so it was no fun trying to zero in the aimpoint wit a 3x burris. The pit was huge. They need to put some cars in there and a truck to the back left. While cleaning the AR's my friend lost the small pin that holds the firing pin in. What is it called and where can he get another one, we were thinking hardware store but we want the right part. 0 -
I went to the local police range this morning to sight in my hunting rifle for deer season. I figured, "Since I'm going to the range, I might as well shoot my M1A, too...."
Here's my first set of shots with my Remington 700, chambered in .270. Not the best shots, but since I don't take very long shots, and I killed two last year with two shots, I should be OK. I'm pleased with the one exact bullseye!
OK, on to "Jayne," my M1A....first I did 20 shots, adjusting my sights after every 5 shots. I didn't take a picture of this target because they were bad. However, here's 20 consecutive shots at 100 yards with open sights. The breeze was fairly gusty, too, so not too shabby, I think.0 -
Got to finally get some range time in and scrounged up enough .357SIG to try my Glock G32 out. All I can say to the Glock haters is you're missing out on FUN! I'd never shot that caliber before. I was expecting bad recoil...farthest thing from it. Very accurate(for me). No jams or failures of any kind with it. Definately have enough confidence to carry it. I do need to get a Lone Wolf barrel in .40 though as that ammo is cheaper and easier to get but that .357SIG is a winner of a caliber. Ammo was Hornady Critical Defense. I did experience my first factory centerfire dud. I had 1 round of .380 Hornady that would not light off. I have hundreds of rounds through the LCP with no failures til this one. Definately gets in your head that this could happen at the worst time so it pays to practice a drill where you get a dud. The .44 Special Bisley is lots of fun and thinking I may use it for deer hunting. The .22 is fun as always..and Cabelas actually had a ton of CCI Mini Mags in stock.

Took the little 1908 Colt Pocket .380 to the range. What a Shooter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 25 yds all rounds in a 10 inch circle.. Not precision but a gaurenteed hurt on anyone on the receiving end..[:0][:0] 0 -
Just bought my 6 year old a Cricket rifle for her birthday. I must say the gun is very low quality and I'm not impressed a bit with the thing. I'd rate it about the quality of a raven or jennings. Had several issues with the bolt out on the range. 0 -
Finally took my DPMS AR out today and put about 200 rounds through it.I sighted it in so it was hitting about an inch low at 25 meters and with out any other adjustments to the sights, I was hitting propane cylinder gongs at 150 yards off hand. I say it performed well. A co worker of mine was there as well and I let him shoot it. He liked it better than his M-4 style AR. Definitely a good purchase. 0 -
Well got the urge bad and had to hit the range. Had several Pistols
I had never even fired.
Targets were a 5" target with 5 per sheet. All shot a 7 yards.
Para WartHog, Kick was not near as bad as I had been told. While its not a target Pistol I now have enough confidance in it to use it as my CCW pistol. No Jams and checking all Brass none from any pistol had any extra dents of dings in them. Also after about 100 rounds thru it my hands are just a little bit sore. But this also could be my hands are still healing from Carple Tunnel Surgery in Dec.
S&W Sigma in a 40 Was actually surprised at how it shot most bullets stayed on the target. Trigger pull is not the greatest, but that could be the other pistols all had great triggers. This also would make a good CCW piece.
Taurus 1911 SS While good the sights are very hard to see, Need to adjust the sights as all were left of the target. Trigger pull was ok but had a lot of slack to take up before you hit the real trigger. Almost like a 2 stage.
Dan Wesson 15 357 used 38P+. Great trigger pull. After shooting the 45's the kick was almost like I was shooting a 22. Sights need a little work had a hard time picking up the rear sight. May need to get a New blade or repaint mine.
Kimber Raptor Wow after shooting a couple of Mags at the target the X ring was gone. Have Houge grips and they really tame the recoil of this pistol. Fantastic trigger pull.0 -

shot just great.
We shot at 2 liter bottles with both
calibers and the 6.8 delivered a lot
more energy to the water bottles than the 223.

Went out today for the first time in years and shot some guns my old 8mm Mauser and my brand new S&W MP40 I shot the 40 from 15 and 20yds didnt group where I wanted it to but Id bet that groups measuring 1-2 inches at that range should be possible (I never was very good with handguns) The 8mm needed to be sighted in first I sighted it in at 55 yds and I was able to get it to bullseye with every round after 8 rounds of tweaking then I moved to 150 yds and changed ammunition to get it fine tuned for deer season later on this year. Note I was using remington 170 grain round nose soft points to get on paper then I used winchester 170 grain soft points at 150yds. with the 40 I was using american eagle federal 180 grain fmj's ended up shooting 49 rounds with the 40 and 18 with the 8mm by then my shoulder just couldnt take any more of a pounding lol.

My son and I went to the range yesterday. I gave him a Savage 30-06 from my gun cabinet as a high school graduation present. We lined it up to 150 grain rounds (I had used 180 grain) and he was shooting 1 1/2" groups at 100 yards, not bad considering the wind was gusting and irratic. I have put about 40 rounds through my Tikka 300 wsm and it has broke is fairly well it seems, I was shooting 1 1/4 inch groups and considering the wind I was very happy with that. We were using cheap (is there such a thing) ammo so like I said I was ahppy with the groups.
We aslo shot my Ruger 454. It's a nice piece and I didn't realize my son had never shot it before. He had fun with the 454 loads and suprised me with his accuracy, but then he has had a good teacher.[:D] He then proceded to have a lot of fun shooting a 50 round box of 45lc through it. The range is an open public range, in the country, with lots of plinking targets available. We had it to ourselves most of the time we were there. So he practiced drawing and firing at various targets. And I have to say with a little practice he will most likely out shoot dad. But then dad could use a little more practice myself, I will not make it easy for him.
We then took turn shooting a 22 mag rifle I brought along and we put about 120 rounds through that and called it a day.

I bought a new Kimber Pro Carry 2 on sunday, today I went to the indoor range and put 100 rnds down range, not alot I know but it was all I had time for. Anyway the first 21 rds went center mass at 5 yards, the next 21 went CM at 7 yards then to 15 where they were a bit more spread out but all in the chest cavity area, the rest of that box were also good hits. Changed targets and brought it back to 7 and put 3mags into the head, ran it out to 25 yrds and peppered the body of the target pretty well, I did miss 6 times or at least the shots were un-accounted for. pretty good for a new gun. I think I will hold onto this one for a long while. 0 -
I took two new to me rifles to the range today. The first was a Japanese Arisaka type 99 re-barreled in 30-06. I picked this up at a pawn shop for $125.00. It has a rear Lyman peep sight that is windage and elevation adjustable. It has a very well tuned trigger and the bolt has been modified to cock on the up swing. This thing is a tack driver. At a hundred meters I stacked two on top of each other and the other two opened it up a bit to about 3". I was using Winchester store bought 165 grain SP. This thing kicks like a mule. I'll be adding a recoil pad soon.
The other rifle was my new JDL PTR-91. This is a sweet set up. It has a heavy trigger pull (about 9 lbs.) but other than that it's a shooter. I was shooting Sellar & Ballot 147grm FMJ. Eight of ten were in a nice group of 4 inches at 100 meters. Two were fliers that opened to 6 inches. I can live with this until I get the trigger pull reduced. Not too bad with open sights.[:D]

Went top the range this morning with Roger Ruger and the Trapdoor twins.
Since I was a kid, going to the movies every Saturday morning and watching Western movies, I always wanted to own a six shooter like the cowboys. While I was on the police department, we carried S&W 38's, but somehow it just wasn't the same, LOL.
Now that a shooting iron by Ruger in 45 Long Colt has joined my collection, I feel just like Tom Mix. (I'll wait while you youngins go and ask your parents who Tom Mix was, haha.) Anyway with my western holster slung low on my hip, I was having fun.
Then it was time to try out the Trapdoor twins. I have two Springfield Trapdoor rifles both made in 1884, in 45/70 caliber. This was their first time at the range for me and both performed very well. We have discussed this before, but it is a real feeling of history to fire these weapons. It is a strange feeling to shoot a single shot rifle after firing an M1 Garand so often.
The 45.70 round is a powerful cartridge and watching plastic soda bottles fly high into the air after getting hit is a rush. (doesn't take much to excite me )
One of the rifles had a small problem in that the extractor is weak and I had to extract spent casings by hand. It wasn't extracting them fast enough to hit the ejector. I guess it's time to try and find a new spring for a 120 year old rifle. If'n anybody has one, shout out, OK?
All in all, it was a fun morning, and now I have three guns to clean, so I'll sign off and get to work..........

I took the CZ, newly aquired Taurus, and the newly aquired Marlin to the range today. I had my father-in-law tag along as a spotter.
Went to the pistol side first. The 40caliber CZ never ceases to impress me. A total pleasure to shoot. You can shoot it all day long with hot reloads and not feel it. Groups real nice off a rest. 2" @ 10yds, I'm sure with more practice I could dial it in better. I have made the conclusion that Alliant Bullseye powder is way to dirty. I put 100rds out today and it looked as though I shot 500. I have always thought that CZ's ergonomics are wonderful, but after looking at a Ruger P94 the other day with it's Hogue grips, I'd have to put the CZ second. The balance of the CZ makes for very quick follow-up shots, very easy to keep on target. I have to comment on the ease of cleaning in the CZ, hold the slide back and pop out the take-down pin, pull the slide off and your in buisness. Over 1500rds though it and not a FTF or FTE, with no misfires. Firing pin hits dead-center every time.
I'm very pleased with the Taurus Millenium Pro 9mm. I just picked it up less than a week ago. Also delightful to shoot. Not as accurate as the CZ, but much more accurate than the Keltec P3AT that this is replacing as a carry gun. I picked a box of CCI Blazer 115gr FMJ and 3 boxes of Remington 115gr MC. All functioned flawlessly, I wasn't overly impressed with the CCI's aluminum case, especially since it is a factor in producing cheaper ammo. However, the Remington green box at $6.50/box is over a dollar cheaper than the CCI. I thought the green box was also cleaner. Gun felt real nice in my hand. My father-in-law is over 350lbs and has big meaty hands, he also commented on the feel. The gun was balanced well and recoil was quite manageable, makeing in quick follow up shots. I have noticed that empty cases are not tossed the 20ft distance that the CZ puts em out. Instead they are tossed almost straight up. The CCI Blazers only popped cases about 6" out of the gun. About 2 feet with the Remington's. A few landed on my head.
The biggest suprise of the day was the Marlin 917VR that I purchased about 2weeks ago. It's their "new" addition to their 17HMR lineup. Blue heavy barrel on synthetic with their T900 trigger system. I wasn't in the mood to drop a couple hundred dollars on a scope so I ordered a Barska Huntmaster Pro 3-12x50 illuminated reticle scope to top it with, just to get a feel for their quality. I was very impressed with their intial quality and workmanship, for $40 I was a little anxious to find out how it would be. It is a very solid and well-made scope. It's multi-coated optics make for a crystal clear sight picture and it sports 12 brightness settings for the illuminated reticle. For the money, I really don't think you can beat this scope.
I took the scope and rifle in grabbed a set of Burris rings and had the scope mounted and bore-sighted. A real beauty with the scope mounted. After we finished with the pistols and cleaned em up, we drove down to the 100yds rifle range. Set up our rifle rest, targets, and rifle and got to work. We brought along Winchester Supreme, Federal, and CCI ammunition. The Winchester's sported polymer tipped V-Max bullets and the others had Speer TNT bullets, all in 17gr. The first 5rds scored in the 10ring at 4 o'clock. Immediately I could tell I really liked this gun. Just enough oomph to let you know that you were shooting something. A high-pitched "crack" told you this was no 22. From checking out the first set of rounds, I was very impressed with the consistancy of the groups and I knew this was a sweet little rifle. A few adjustments brought them to about the 3 ring at 9 o'clock, little too much I guess. A couple adjustments and 5rds later, we were cutting bullseyes.
This is the best group we had. The day was beautiful, ~80degrees, sun at our backs, just a few clouds in the sky and a soft 5mph breeze at all times. I shot this group around noon today, 5rds covered by a nickel. I haven't measured it yet. Needless to say, I am very impressed.

We then took it down to the 225yd range and set up some prarie dog shoot-n-c targets. I don't have a spotting scope so we decided to just throw some rounds out and see if we hit anything. We were a little low on our elevation as each round hit the bottom 1/4 of the P-dog. The rounds were still really close. If I had more time to run back and forth down the range we could have tried to get some tight groups, but I wasn't holding my breath. I think I'll stick the the 100yd range from here. At least for a while. We did meet a good-ol-boy who had built a Ruger M77 in 22-250, topped with a Baush and Lomb 6-24 scope and a super light trigger, you don't pull it, you just touch it. A real nice gun, he had us put some rounds through it, and I can tell you, I know what rifle I want next!
All in all it was a great day, beautiful, plenty of people out, shooting everything from 22s to 30-06's and more.0 -
Took my S-I-L to the range today. He is 30 and was in the Air Force.
He loves his .40 glock, (Glock lucky for him)
He promply loaded up 2 mags with his best 9mm rounds and fired 1 it would not eject. He cleared the jam and fired again it jambed. He turned to me and said this gun is f---ed up. By then I'd picked up the first jambed round and it looked like the liberty bell. Thats when I knew what he did. He said your not able to load 9mm in a 40 mag. Well you can and he did. Talk about stove piping a round through a target, I think he's lucky he hit it. Gun was not hurt (only his pride)0 -
Took a couple I hadnt fired yet and was suprised how good they operate..I took the 9 mm largo 1921 spanish police pistol the Astra, and been so long since I shot the hopped up 9mm , I forgot just how hot is was.. Extremely accurate.. It will also shoot the .38 auto but I dont have any .38 auto ammo.,.
The 1910/22 FN (browning patent) .32 auto was owned by a Nazi Soldier,was excellant in its performance. Not much bang but accurate..

Finally got some Hornady 44 mag leverevolution Henry Big boy loves them about 3" high at 100 yds compared to remington corelokts nice group for open sights and old eyes my model 29 grouped real good too the colt anconda didn't like them ran out before I could try them in the ruger carbine. forgot to bring camera this time hopefully get pictures of targets next time 0 -
Zeroed in a couple of rifles today using Federal fusion ammo. I set up a 100 yard range at a buddy's place using my range finder.
One was a .243 H&R single shot youth model using 95gr rounds. After getting what I wanted I shot a 3 shot group of 7/8" center to center, I was surprised. Not the best platform and the trigger is fairly tough, But dang did it shoot good. Like I said I am surprised.
Second is my Tikka .300 WSM using 150gr rounds. The tikka shoots good and has a great trigger. After zeroing my 3 shot group with it was 3/4". I had a fair rest for both rifles but not the best and I didn't feel like I was doing them justice, but the groups were good so I'll take it.
Fusion ammo shot well, I'll hunt with it this year, see how it performs on Indiana whitetails and let you know.0 -
Well this weekend my BOL & I went out to the Wenas shooting area to do some target shooting and I packed along my Taurus 850 for a little range work for it as well. The temp was in the low 30's & snow everywhere. The new ammo I wanted to try out was Buffalo Bore 158 grain .38 +p, they are a lead hollowpoint that supposedly go out at 1000fps/351 ft lbs.
All I can say is OUCH!!! Those things are definately not for the faint of heart or recoil shy/first time shooters or the ladies. I have been carrying 140 grain Hornady standard velocity loads and thought ok maybe I should step up the power scale. I think they had more felt recoil than some .357's. I dunno that I'm going to keep using them as powerful as they may be, I might have trouble with follow up shots if needed. Accuracy out of them is standard snubbie, which is to say they will do the job at 7 yards. I have also used the Speer Gold Dot for short barrel revolver but they had tons of muzzle flash(contrary to Speers' propaganda regarding that). We did also see some elk up on a hill and to my suprise they could have cared less that people were shooting.
There were quiet a few people, including my BOL, trying to hit a metal target that is 600 yards out and very few folks could hit it consistently. Even if they have whatever the new flavor of the month elk killer in .300 Super Ultra Short Mag or 7mm Maximum Rocket Mag which proves my point that FEW shooters should be trying to take an animal much past 300 or 400 yards unless they can consistently hit that 500-600 target more than 1 shot in 20.[:D]0 -

My neighbor came up to the house this afternoon with a new Colt 1911 target grade pistol. I got out my sig 220 with a laser guide rod, Beretta 92fs, and a Smith 5906. He shot 3 rounds with his Colt from a sand bag sitting position. Group was tight but high and left. He adjusted windage and was hitting high. Re adjusted elevation and was on in in 9 rounds total. Then Its time for the fixed sight pistols. My sig was about dead on with a similar tight pattern. No adjustments necessary. When using the laser, it was 3" left but elevation was fine. The Beretta was close with fixed sights but not as tight a pattern. Now comes the Smith. That has to be the crappiest pistol I have ever shot. 3 round patterns were damn near 5" apart. He is a great shot and his pattern was almost as bad as mine when he fired it. We were shooting at a relatively close range of about 20 yards from a sandbag position on a picnic table. Question is why is the Smith and Wesson 5906 shooting such spratic patterns? That pistol may have been a bad investment and will leave quickly. Then the rain came and we had to quit a little early but him and I had a great time shooting. Total of about 150 rounds down range made for a fine afternoon of shooting. 0 -
Took out the Remington 1911 I purchased awhile ago. I think this one might be a good one. Only one failure while my nephew was shooting it. Ran about 60 rounds through it. It was nice. Have I finally found a 1911 that performs well out of the box[?] 0 -

My guns all performed like they usually do except that the 10-22 was having some cycling/feeding issues. I've been messing with that one so it might be my fault.
My friend's guns were more interesting because they were mostly new to us. We both really liked the Colt. We both really, really like the FN. It's got a nice little pop to it without too much kick, the trigger's decent and it is, in the end, just a damn fun gun. I'm not sure how practical it is, but then who needs a good reason to buy a fun gun?
And we both pretty much hated the Springfield and the H&K. The FN is a plastic gun, so it's not about the plastic because we both loved that one. But the Springfield just had a cheap feel to it and even though the H&K did not have the cheap feel to it, it wasn't fun to shoot. For starts: WAAAAAY too much pre-travel on the triggers both of the H&K and of the Springfield. Those enormous trigger guards don't sit well with me, either. When not ready to shoot, I like my finger on the guard and that's tough to do when the guard is two inches long.
I'm glad I got to try them out. Now I know that I just don't like those two guns. And I also know that if I find myself a little flush, the amusing thing might be to obtain the FN 5.7.0 -
A while back I promised to give a range report on the .22-250 I purchased, so here it is. I can't wait to see what some of my reloads will do.

Took a couple of guns out to the range today. (Public range - unsupervised)
Placed the new Burris AR-536 on my DPMS .308 Fired one shot @ 50 yards, adjusted once and put 4 in the black you could cover with a quarter. Moved target out to 100 and shot about a 3" 5 shot group in about 5 seconds. I like it.
I had put a new scope on my savage 22 mag and wanted to test 6 different types of ammo. Federal game-shock won with 4 in a cloverleaf and one 1/2" high of the group. Hornady 30gr v-max were close 2nd followed by CCI HP, Winchester, Remington, then Armscor.
Next was a new gun/scope. Savage 16 in 6.5 Creedmoor with a Burris E1 6.5-20X50. Sweet shooting gun. About as flat as a 270, recoils like a 243. Had it dialed in after 5 rounds and grouped well for me. I like this combination for a cutover/powerline gun. There will be blood!
Lastly I put a hundred rounds downrange from my new PSA closeout FNS40 with night sights. Gun felt well in my hand especially after switching out the backstrap. Shooting a little low and right out of the box but grouping real well. Zero FTF/FTE.
All-in-all a very enjoyable day. Met some nice folks there too.
p.s. Picked up 4-500 pieces of once fired brass above what I shot!0 -
Well, I guess I should say 'back yard report'...
Took the AR's out today for some shootin' fun. The wife wanted to go along too. My buddy was bringing over his AR's, one of which is chambered in .204. Wife wanted to shoot that one in comparison to the .223. She wants one or the other for a coyote gun, but can't decide which (Yay...get to buy another gun!!).
Anyway did some shooting steel targets at 100yds, then further out. My buddy's got a DPMS HB 24" in .204 and another 24" HB in .223 with a brake, both scoped with some pretty nice glass. Wife shot pretty darn well with both, but the 24" HB's are just too heavy for her taste.
Then we decided to back up. The furthest we could get was 315 yards, so we decided to try from there. Lots of hits for my buddy and I, but wife unit was having a hard time getting a good cheek weld with the collapsable stocks. Plus we had a pretty stiff crosswind blowing by now.
My buddy hits a few in a row with his .204 and starts grinnin' (sorta like 'top that!'). Game on; so I grabbed my Bushy 16" M4/A3 with iron sights, clicked it up a couple clicks. He's sayin' "no way are you gonna make..." Just about then I was in position...<Bang>...<ding!> <Bang>...<ding!> <Bang>...<ding> <Bang>...<ding> <Bang>...<ding!>; "Your turn!" says me, with a big fat grin. [:D]
He hit a couple, then we went back to shooting the other guns. All in all I hit the steel 16 times out of 20 with my iron sighted M4/A3. I thought that was pretty good, considering the wind and downhill terrain.
Then we walked back and broke out the pistols. Wife recently passed her CCW so she wanted to get some training/practice in (wants a CCW pistol also...YAY, get to buy another gun!). She had never shot a centerfire pistol before, let alone a 1911. Well, holy crap, this girl can shoot!! She even did the 'Hot brass dance' when she took one down the brazier. [:D] She did great thought, and we all had a blast!
Nothing like the smell of burnt gunpowder in the afternoon breeze!

First time I've been to the range in a couple years. Pocket pistols both fired all rounds (that had been in the guns for ages)
I function fired some .38 snubbies. All seemed to hit more-or-less at point of aim., but the Rock Island Colt style won't function in double action.
I was extremely pleased with the Rock Island 1911 9mm (first 9mm auto I've ever owned). Very tight groups.
Rock Island 1911 .22 was very disappointing repeated failure to extract. I was limited on time as I didn't get to the range until almost sundown so I didn't spend any time trying to make it work.0 -
Finally got a chance to shoot my S&W Model 10-6. 4" heavy barrel.
I love it.
Shoots far easier than any of my Sigs. Cut the center dot out at 25 feet
I could knock down the 6" plates at will.
I'm shooting my cast reloads and it just ate them up.
I am more than thrilled.
I will see my father in law and thank him again for his generosity in giving me the gun.
I put a set of mother-of-pearl grips on and she's beautiful as well.

Yesterday I had a great opportunity to go to a local indoor range. One high school friend (Rob), who's also an NRA-cert instructor, came down from Indiana, and another high school bud (Jim) and his wife came up from Tampa, FL. Fortunately I was able to arrange for my wife to join us, and the 5 of us got to shoot for a couple of hours.
My Florida friend has rarely done any shooting, and his wife had never done it before, so I was glad my other friend was there as an instructor. He brought his S&W 1911, Kahr K9 (I think that was it), and his Ruger snubby .357. I brought my S&W 686+ (another .357) and my wife brought her Taurus Judge. If I'd had any foresight whatsoever, I would have thought to bring my grandfather-in-law's Ruger Mark II. That would have been a MUCH better gun for first-time shooters.
Regardless, we still had fun, even though my friend's wife was a little timid because of the kick. She fired the Judge only once (the range doesn't allow shot to be fired, even from a Judge, so we had to use .45 Colt), and put it down. But my wife shot several rounds of it to get more familiar with her gun, and we did lots and lots of .38 Specials out of my 686 and my other friend's Ruger.
We also did several .357s, which is just amazing the difference when you "warmed up" with .38's. Just the "in your faceness" of the flash and concussion. I tend not to feel it so much when I'm concentrating on my grip/sights, so it's an awesome feeling standing next to someone firing a .357 Magnum. [8D][:D]
Shooting Rob's 1911 was a good time, too. Even though I'm a revolver guy, I still want a 1911. There's no arguing with the pure fantasticalness of that gun!!
And since most of our targets were at 7 yards, I'm happy to report that every single paper bad guy out there is DEAD!![:p]0
