WHICH KNIFE?
I have a choice- a Benchmade Nimravus with M2 steel, or the current Busse knife. The Benchmade comes with a scabbard, which is extra for the Busse. Also, Benchmade isn't making anything with M2 anymore.
I'd probably use the Benchmade more (general use)than the larger Busse, maybe. The Busse has an inch longer blade, and a good 1/32 thicker. The steels are similar in hardness.

I own a bunch of Benchmade knives including several autos. I have had great luck with them. They hold an edge and are tough. When the springs go belly up in my autos I send it back they fix it, shapren it and send it back at no charge. I don't have any experience with Busse knives. 0 -
Carry a Benchmade everyday , one of the best knives I have ever owned. 0 -
Look at the "Virginia Blade" knives. I have the "Kajer II" it's the most ergonomic knife i have personaly ever used, With 2 gut hooks and a razor edge for skinnin'. I got mine in a "camo" patern..It's a "DUKE DUDLEY"design...FREE sharpenin' for LIFE!!

I have carried a Benchmade knife daily. It has served me well for almost 10 years. 0 -
I have a couple of Benchmade autos, they are excellent knives. Got one in my pocket right now. Don't know anything about Busse knives. I would probably get the Busse just to see how it stood up to daily use. 0 -

One website- cutlery science compared the different steels. The Busse is what they describe as able to take impacts. The M2 Benchmades as low impact steel- meaning they won't take as much abuse. I don't abuse knives, or any tool as a rule. But, I might get both for comparison per your suggestion. The Busse is a thicker slab than the Benchmade.0 -
Why not get both? Send whichever one you don't want to me. 0 -

If you'll take it off my hands for cost, sure. [;)] Probably get the Busse with a gray blade and black micarta handles. How's that?0 -
SOGs are nice. 0 -
