what is the average cost of Sheetrock

i need to get one sheet of 4x8 Sheetrock and some type of plywood or particle board or something what ever is cheapest. the problem is i don't live by a hardware store. my closest one is 45 miles away. so i was just kinda wondering what the average cost is. only needs to be 1/4 inch. need the price of 4x8 plywood also 1/4 inch.

  3/8" drywall sell's for $7.70 and 1/4" exterior glue lauan plywood is 12 bucks a sheet, 1/4" chip board is around six something. Prices do vary around the country but this is what they sell for here.

  drywall around here is about the same depending on quality. you can also get it at bargin tool stores for about a buck or so less, but they are also like the second run type, less even edges and all that.
  lowes and home depot run about the same $7-10 range and lauan underlayment runs about $12.
