    We dont have them that big here, but I have a spot where you will catch 75 or 100 channel cats a day every, every day. Average is 2-5 lbs. If ya throw your line out and dont have a fish on in 3 minutes then you lost your bait.

    I think that's called a wels, a European catfish found in the large rivers. They're supposed to get enormous, and I think they're heavy in the Danube. I thought the guys sounded German.

    hey bigtire....my cabin is on toronto lake & in 2005 biggest cat caught on line was 70 lbs by a fellow from Iola, ks....i got a copy of the pic of #2 & #3 which were 58 & 62 lbs...i think the top for 2006 was 46 lbs..only thing wrong with this picture is that it was not me.....

    aw why did he wade it back in? I coulda used that for bait on my next trip to the Royal Island. That's a guppy compared to a sturgeon.
