This sucks
Storms have been pretty bad here in the twin cities, havent had power for about 3.5 hours. Finished cooking our pizza on the grille in the garage, now we are sitting in the driveway charging our phones. Any ideas to keep us going until we see light.? [}:)]

Twentyfive years ago, or so I hurt my back. I went to all the specialists, nothing was ever found. The one specialist told me time would heal me.I found a bone cruncher that got me back to normal. I turned 65 and am now on medicare, and have med insureance. The bone cruncher can no longer see me. I can't even pay him to see me. This is the only doctor that has helped me with the pain in my back and neck. He can't legallly take my money? WTH? 0 -
went to the supply house this morning at 7am. The manager walked over to me and said, Does it feel warm in here to you. I said yeah, let me take a look at your unit. We walked around back and.......OH POOP[:0] It's GONE. I said, there's your problem, no unit. Things get better. As we walked up closer, we found tire tracks and a mud flap for a passenger rear wheel with a chevy sign on it. What do you think happened next. A chevy pickup truck with a missing passenger side mud flap and an air conditioner goes driving by. We jump in my truck and followed him to the recycling plant. We called the police on the way. We just took down his plate number and waited for the police. We didn't want to get into it with the guy. Glad we didn't. It wasn't the air conditioner, but it was the right truck. The police took it from there. Guess I will find out later this week what happened when I go back in there. They took the guy away in cuffs, so I am assuming he was the guy. 0 -
Just got a call yesterday from dad, someone broke into his house
the othernight and stole 3 of his postols [:(!] one of them being a colt scout that mom got him right after the got togather that was over 40 years ago. If i ever get my hands on them [B)] we think it was young kids from the finger prints beside they did not take anything else and the rifles were right there.

TUESDAY 11/22 BETWEEN 6:am and 12pm persons broke into my home in South Cloverdale,besides 2 HD televisions they took one Sentry Safe, with Sig Sauer P220 stainless(made in Germany),Colt M1991 series 80 black with stainless,HK USP Compact, Smith&Wesson M&P full-size, all of which are 45 caliber.Many Magazines for each loaded! Also many other very important and irreplaceable items.
I called and talked to this guy, he said the crooks ripped his safes from the wall and floor to get them. One was caught at the break-in but the other made off with his stuff and police couldnt find it/him. They raided the captured guys house and found property from other break-ins but not his stuff.
Heres the kicker. Guy told my he paid his homeowners 2 days before the break-in over the web. Ins company told him they would not cover it because his payment was in a "pending" status when it happened.0 -
It is freaking snowing.
